Cellcept 500mg Tablet is used for prevention of organ rejection in transplant patients.
Cellcept 500mg 50 Tablet side reactions
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Abdominal pain, Headache, Increased blood pressure, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils).
How to take Cellcept 500mg 50 Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cellcept 500mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Cellcept 500mg 50 Tablet works
Cellcept 500mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant. It reduces the action of body’s own defense system (the immune system) and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ.

Suggestion for Cellcept 500mg 50 Tablet
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Should not be taken at the same time as antacids as they can interfere with its effects.
- May cause birth defects so birth control is required in females with reproductive potential.
- Cellcept may also increase the risk of infection. Avoid being close to people with cold, flu or other contagious illnesses.
- Protect yourself from direct sunlight by wearing protective clothing and applying a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF).
