Uses of Sprycel 70mg 60 TabletSprycel 70mg Tablet is used in the treatment of blood cancer (Chronic myeloid leukaemia). It is used in patients whose disease could not be treated with other medications for leukaemia or who cannot take these medications because of side effects.

How to take Sprycel 70mg 60 TabletTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sprycel 70mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Sprycel 70mg 60 Tablet worksSprycel 70mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.

Suggestion for Sprycel 70mg 60 Tablet
- Dasatinib is not recommended for use in patients <18 years of age.
- Do not take medicines that neutralise stomach acids (antacids) within 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking dasatinib.
- Tell your doctor if you are taking medicines to thin the blood or prevent clots, if you have or have had liver or heart problem or if you start having difficulty breathing, chest pain, or a cough while taking dasatinib.
- Exercise caution while taking dasatinib if you have been diagnosed with intolerance to lactose.
- Do not drive or operate machinery while taking dasatinib as it may cause dizziness and blurring of vision.
- Avoid if allergic to dasatinib or any of its ingredients.

Pregnancy

Sprycel 70mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation

Sprycel 70mg Tablet is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Take special care when driving in case you experience side effects such as dizziness and blurred vision with Sprycel 70mg Tablet.
Kidney
Sprycel 70mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Sprycel 70mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver

Sprycel 70mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Sprycel 70mg Tablet is recommended.

If you miss a dose of Sprycel 70mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
