How Adova 1mg 30 Soft Gelatin Capsule worksAdova 1mg Soft Gelatin Capsule is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by lowering the amount of estrogen (natural female hormone) produced in the body. This can lower or stop the growth of some breast cancer cells that need estrogen to grow.

- Your doctor has prescribed Adova to treat breast cancer.
- Adova lowers estrogen production in your body and reduces the growth of hormone-sensitive tumours.
- Adova can be taken with food or on an empty stomach with a glass of water or juice.
- Nausea (upset stomach) and hot flashes (sudden sweating and feelings of warmth) may occur on starting treatment with Adova but should go away with time. If nausea is bothersome, take it after meal.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.

Kidney

Liver
