How to take Amlopress 5mg 30 TabletTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amlopres 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

- You have been prescribed Amlopres 5 mg Tablet to improve your blood pressure and/or to reduce the number and severity of angina attacks.
- Lowering blood pressure reduces the chance of future heart attack & stroke.
- It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you’re sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.
- A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur, especially when you first start taking Amlopres 5 mg Tablet. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
- Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.

If you miss a dose of Amlopres 5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
