Uses of Cytodrox 500mg 10 CapsuleCytodrox 500mg Capsule is used in the treatment of sickle cell anemia.
Cytodrox 500mg 10 Capsule side reactionsMegaloblastic anemia, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Oligospermia (low sperm count), Azoospermia (absence of sperms).
How to take Cytodrox 500mg 10 CapsuleTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cytodrox 500mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Cytodrox 500mg 10 Capsule worksHydroxycarbamide causes inhibition of DNA synthesis during the S-phase of cell division by acting as a ribonucleotide reductase inhibitor resulting to cell death. It is S-phase specific.

Driving
Cytodrox 500mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney

Cytodrox 500mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cytodrox 500mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function test and some blood tests may be advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver
caution
