How to take Zurig 80mg 30 TabletTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zurig 80mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Zurig 80mg 30 Tablet worksZurig 80mg Tablet is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It works by decreasing blood uric acid, which is the chemical that causes gout.

Suggestion for Zurig 80mg 30 Tablet
- Your doctor has prescribed Zurig to reduce episodes of gout attack.
- Take Zurig at the same time every day, with or without food.
- Take plenty of fluids (2-3 litres) daily while on Zurig.
- Notify your doctor if you develop a rash. This could be a sign of allergy and should go away on discontinuing Zurig.
- To ensure that Zurig is working, you may have to undergo blood tests regularly.
- When you first start taking Zurig, you might have more gout attacks. Do not stop Zurig on having an acute attack of gout as that could make an attack worse.
